Since 1989, the international choral scene has met in Marktoberdorf every two years over the Whitsun holidays for one of the world's most renowned competitions for chamber choirs. In seventeen competitions so far, more than 200 choirs from over 40 countries have shown what choral music has to offer today in exciting competitions and extraordinary concerts. Both professional and lay audiences are always enthusiastic:

The 18th International Chamber Choir Competition will take place from 26 to 30 May 2023 under the patronage of Claudia Roth, MdB and Minister of State for Culture and Media.
