Advance ticket sales for the Marktoberdorf International Chamber Choir Competition begin on 11 April 2023.

It's finally starting again: over Whitsun, from 26 to 30 May, the 18th International Chamber Choir Competition Marktoberdorf will take place. Twelve choirs from the USA, Mexico, Indonesia, the Philippines, Ukraine, Finland, Slovenia, Georgia and Germany are expected. They will compete against each other in the exciting competition and give joint concerts in which they will show what choral music has to offer today. Advance ticket sales start on Tuesday, 11 April 2023.

Concert tickets are cheaper in advance than at the box office. You save between three and five euros per concert ticket. The advance ticket prices are as follows: Opening, closing concert and second competition round: 22 euros, competition round parts 1 and 2 15 euros each; the evening concerts cost 20 euros each. If you would like to attend several concerts, you can purchase a festival pass for 130 euros. Following the competition concerts, the International Masterclass for Choral Conductors will take place from 31 May to 4 June 2023. Tickets for the final concert of the Masterclass on 4.6.23 in the Bavarian Music Academy Marktoberdorf cost 20 euros in advance.
