Advance ticket sales for the Marktoberdorf International Chamber Choir Competition starts on 19 April 2022

It's finally starting again: the International Chamber Choir Competition Marktoberdorf will take place over Whitsun, from 3 to 7 June. A total of around 300 singers from seven different countries are invited to come to the competition in the Allgäu. Choirs from the USA, Indonesia, Russia, the Czech Republic, South Africa, Slovenia and Germany are expected.

The concert tickets are cheaper in advance than at the box office, you save between three and five euros per concert ticket. The advance ticket prices are as follows: Opening, closing concert and second competition round: 22 euros, competition round parts 1 and 2 15 euros each; the evening concerts cost 20 euros each. If you would like to attend several concerts, you can purchase a festival pass for 120 euros. Following the competition concerts, there will be concerts as part of the International Masterclass for Choral Conductors, which will take place from 8-12.6.2022. A concert on 8.6.2022 by the Calmus Ensemble in the Church of St. Martin in Kaufbeuren, as well as the final concert of the Masterclass in the Bavarian Music Academy Marktoberdorf on 12.6.2022.
