Jussi Chydenius is a true multitasker within music: a singer, a drummer, a composer and an arranger. He began his musical career as a drummer for one of the most successful Finnish rock bands of the 90's Don Huonot, with whom he played until 2001. He is also a founding member and the bass of Rajaton, the Finnish a cappella phenomenon that celebrates it's 20th anniversary in 2017.
Jussi is an active educator and a seasoned adjudicator. From 2017 on he will be the new chairman of the jury for the contest for vocal ensembles at the Tampere Vocal Music Festival, where he has been a member of the jury since 2003.
He has composed a lot of commissioned pieces for choirs all around the world and is published by Oxford University Press and Sulasol.
