Passive participation in the Masterclass for Choral Conductors

Schedule:
Two "main choir rehearsals" will take place daily, in which the active participants will conduct. These rehearsals are always conducted alternately by both teachers.

The passive participants take part in these rehearsals and sit with the non-leading teacher who analyses the work on stage with them.
In addition, every evening there are lectures by the lecturers in which the passive participants take part.

So the passive participants cannot actively pre-conduct and receive feedback on their conducting. Nevertheless, they can learn a lot during the masterclass and the talks with the lecturers and take away new impressions. They can learn new conducting techniques and exchange ideas with other choir conductors on an international level.

Choir:
A participant choir of the 18th International Chamber Choir Competition Marktoberdorf will be available as studio choir.

Language:
The International Masterclass for Choral Conducting will be held in German and English.

Costs:
Participation normal: 150 Euro
Participation reduced: 100 Euro (reduced: students with current proof)
Board, lodging and sheet music: 253 Euro

(For interested choir conductors from the region, board and lodging on site is not obligatory, but only an offer).

Accommodation:
Accommodation is in shared rooms at the Bavarian Music Academy Marktoberdorf. Single rooms are possible for an additional charge in a nearby hotel or, if available, in the Bavarian Music Academy Marktoberdorf.
